A Brief History of Gravit-e
It's been a long road, but we still feel like we're only at the start of our journey...
2005: Our beginnings
Where more than a decade of eCommerce experience begins. We start out life as part of one of the UK's largest Sage Business Partners, delivering large scale eCommerce solutions for the likes of Ideal Shopping TV and Neal's Yard Remedies. We quickly outgrow the confines of working with just Sage 500, and begin offering our software and expertise to businesses running Navision, Epicor, SAP, and more.
2012: The Independent State of Gravit-e
After more than five years working inside a Sage Business Partner, life outside beckons and our founding team members transform Gravit-e into a full service digital agency - Gravit-e Centric is born! We launch our own online brands; Technology Centric and Candles at Home; improving our technology and honing our skills at the sharp end of eCommerce.
2014: Building a Bigger Gravit-e
We form a partnership with Prosys Computing, becoming one of the only digital agencies in the UK that can offer consultancy services across the full eCommerce life-cycle and a "full stack" approach to eCommerce that includes web, mobile, back office, and digital marketing. Gravit-e 7 is born, a ground-up rebuild of our technology suite that reduces costs and complexity and offers our customers greatly enhanced functionality.
2015: New customers and New Team members
We continue to add new customers, expand our team, all whilst upgrading existing customers to Gravit-e 7 and delivering an increasing range of digital services.
2016: New Partners and New Opportunities
We create the Gravit-e partner channel to help spread the word about our eCommerce platform across the UK. Naturally, Prosys Computing are our first Premier Partner. J Squared Marketing sign up as Premier Partner and we begin working on shared projects almost immediately. Ensphere join our partner programme offering eCommerce integration for Sage 200 to their customers with Gravit-e.
2018 - The Year of AI
We proclaim 2018 our "Year of AI" and set the wheels in motion for the launch of Return, our AI powered analytics and analysis tool for eCommerce.
